Start your journey in luxury from our Uttara office at 8AM. Our first stop is around the Shadarghat water front on the Buriganga. This is a bustling terminal for steamers, launches, small local boats transporting people and their goods to and fro. The next port of call is the magnificent "Ahsan Manzil" also known as the Pink Palace where you can marvel at the lifestyles of the Nawabs of old Dhaka. |  |
 | We then head for Shakari Bazaar (popular for making bangles from conch shells), the elaborate Star mosque and the old Dhakeshawari Temple - the oldest Hindu temple in Dhaka with origins in the 11th Century. |
Then we take lunch in a traditional Bangladeshi Restaurant before visiting New Market - the oldest complete shopping complex of Bangladesh. We then visit the national museum with its rich selection of artifacts from the earliest known history of Bengal, Dhaka University and the distinctive Parliament Building- designed by the famous American architect Louis I Kahn.
